About & Work

The same
skill set,
different places.

I’ve spent my career where marketing, service, and operations overlap. Good ideas become real because somebody keeps the details, people, and purpose connected.

At SmartDollar, I run events end-to-end: trade shows, conferences, association sponsorships, networking groups, and the systems that turn those gatherings into pipeline. That includes vendor relationships, budgets across planning cycles, documentation a team can actually use, and the details that separate a passable event from one people remember.

Before events, I worked across retention and product, helping clients and users stay engaged. That work shaped how I think about every interaction: it can create trust, make the next step easier, and give someone a reason to come back. Or it can quietly become another piece of friction.

Travel planning turned out to use many of the same muscles. Logistics, budgets, timelines, judgment, and a hundred details all point toward one thing: making sure the experience is worth the effort.

Event marketing · system design

Building a reusable event playbook across a 20+ event calendar.

Replaced ad-hoc event planning with a documented system covering strategy, on-site execution, follow-up, budgets, lead handoff, and measurement. The operating system helped the program scale without every event starting from zero.

The work behind the work

There’s much more than fits neatly on a portfolio page.

Some of my favorite projects are systems, workflows, and moments that make other people’s work easier. If that is the kind of work you care about too, the best path is a conversation.
